The Majestic Monarch butterfly visiting my Rose of Sharon tree. I think Monarchs are one of the most beautiful butterflies. I’m so glad that I have so many flowers that they enjoy visiting in my garden!

Beautiful Monarch. Lovely macro photography.
The season is early/mid spring in Aotearoa and Monarchs are starting to appear frequently. They are indeeda majestic butterfly.

You never cease to amaze me! The soft shadows on the butterfly’s wings…Wow. I saw a monarch at an orchard in Bethlehem, Conn., on Monday that was as busy as this one is peaceful. Thank you for this beautiful image!

I had butterflies around my rose of sharons this summer but it seem like everytime I would get the camera out they would fly off… : ( Sweet shot though keep up the good work
