A Bumble bee paying a visit to the New York Asters

DSC01298

I certainly enjoy my New York Asters when they bloom each Fall, but it looks like the Bumble Bees do as well! I often see them traveling to the flowers and then going off somewhere with their back legs covered in pollen. Such interesting creatures.

I’m actually extremely allergic to bees, but I don’t have a problem with the bumble bees in my garden. We coexist peacefully and as I said I enjoy watching them collecting pollen from my large variety of flowers within my garden.

Wonderful captures Tricia, the bee is ardently going about it’s normal routine very expertly.
Thanks for your assistance with my flower, greatly appreciated.

The bees are certainly around lately! I have shots I am saving for tomorrow! Today I posted one of my cats! I love asters. Never had much luck growing them but really enjoy great shots. Your eye is really good!

We’ve got the teeny-tiny New England asters instead, nice to have when the weather turns cold.

    I like asters.
Can’t beat the splash of colours they can give.

I like them and anemone for their colour too.
