I’m posting this photo today for my father. He died five years ago on December 8th, 2001. He loved Peonies.

This one’s for you Dad.

This is a Karl Rosenfield peony – lovely all season long thanks to it’s lovely dark green foliage.

    my dad liked them, too. I think his mom had them.
    But, my parents never grew them. I have two plants. A white one that is full like your picture, and then a single petaled pink one that is very delicate.

    Rememberance is an importance form of recognising and acknowledging that who has been and passed before us. The footsteps we tread in now were once paved by our parents and so the cycle of life and death will continue.
