I took this photo last year, but my Amaryllis should be blooming soon. Amaryllis grow from a bulb and can be forced into blooming by chilling the bulb for a period of time prior to planting. I just keep my bulbs planted and make sure the plants are left outside in a cool area or placed in the basement for about a month in the fall or early winter so that they’ll bloom for me in Febuary or March.
