Breath of Life Rose and hornet

I was taking a photo of this rose, Breath of Life, when a wasp or hornet was heading towards it for a visit. I didn’t notice the wasp as I took the photo so it was a nice surprise to see that I’d captured it in the photograph.

That is so breathtakingly beautiful I swear I can smell it.

    Cheers!

Imagine what will happen when the bee hits the pedal… Nice shot!

I made a comment in my blog (see http://bluemountainsjournal.blogspot.com/2007/02/cheerful-weeds.html) that I am nearly always surprised by bugs appearing in my flower shots.

None of them have every appeared as beatifully placed as yours. And my yellow flower is not a patch on the daisy photo you posted today.

You would have won a photo contest we have here…the bee in the shot would be the clincher!!! Lovely!
