Purple Hyacinth … this is the first one to bloom in my garden this year. Oh I now have several hyacinths in bloom, but this was the first to fully flower. Isn’t it lovely?
The weather was so nice last week that we had our doors and windows open most of each day. The scent of hyacinth would waft into the house every now and then. So beautiful. I love that scent.
The lighting for this photo could be better. It was a rainy overcast afternoon when I took this photo.

I love hyacinths! I just love the smell and purple is my favorite color. I wish I could have them around me all year long.

I have seen a lot of pictures of this flower but havent seen ever in real life.I think this Purple Hyacinth is simply awesome and I would like to have one in my garden.

@Pamela I agree hyacinth do smell good and after seeing this photo I’m thinking I need to plant some again. For some reason mine are not growing any more. However, I think Lily of the Valley are my favorite scented flower.
