I just love antique roses like this Compte de Chambord rose. They are just jam packed with tightly woven petals and oh the scent. The scent is so lovely. In fact, this rose is one of the roses that rose perfume is made out of because it’s fragrance is so perfect.

These are certainly some of the most beautiful flowers. They look so soft and delicate. Beautiful photo.

I love the crisp detail on the petals in this photo.
We have a hedge which is woven with little pink roses similar to this one. They’re in bloom at the moment and make the garden smell like heaven.

All antique stuff is great, roses may wither and rust but they’re always going to used by men to woo women. What gal doesn’t love getting them?
