A couple of weeks ago my husband and went for a hike in a park here in Toronto. While we were there I decided to take some photographs of the trees. If you’ve seen the last picture and description you already know I like trees and interesting bark.
Well .. as I took photos I looked up and this is what I saw. I love how the sunlight is breaking through the leaves at the top of the tree.
Does it make you feel small just imagining being under this tree? It was huge!

Great shot in and of itself…that it reminded me of the twin towers, all the more. Sometimes I think towering trees should have been the only thing to replaced them.

That is a beautiful shot of one of my favorite living creatures … trees. Personally, I have a lot of shots of trees in all seasons, and I find them magical – so many different greens and opacities through the leaves. Lovely.
I am glad though that the leaves are not changing colour just yet – I can still pretend it is summer, or that maybe we’ll get a little more weather that is summer-like. In Ontario we all got ripped off in the hot & sunny department this year!
