This Hyacinth isn’t blooming in my garden yet- but give it two months or so and I’ll have several of these beauties making my garden look lovely! Oh and the scent! Just looking at this photo brings to mind the heady scent of Hyacinths!

On nice warm spring days I love to open the windows of my house and have the scent of Hyacinth waft in on the breeze. Of course, Hyacinths have quite a strong scent … it can be quite irritating to some people. If you have a potted Hyacinth indoors you might want to keep it in a low traffic area .. don’t worry, you’ll still smell it!

    Oh, hyacinths do smell lovely, but yes they are very pungent! I had them at my old house, but sadly none yet at the new one. I’m planning to put some in eventually though :)
