It’s amazing how fragrant just a few of these tiny Lily of the Valley flowers really are. I’ve been trying to grow these plants for a few years and this year several came up in two areas of my garden. The scent carried throughout the whole garden and into the neighborhood.
Do you grow Lily of the Valley?
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this lily bud covered in rain drops one day this past summer. All of the plants were shimmering, covered in tiny beads of water and this lily bud just stood out.

This is a pink Stargazer Lily. Gorgeous isn’t it? I love it’s orange tipped stamens and the pink petals. I only wish that I had more of these lovely lilies growing in my yard.
I think this daylily is called Sammy Russel but if I’m wrong then it’s Bonanza … I can’t remember! LOL Oh well, no matter what it’s named, it’s still a lovely daylily that graces my garden with lovely flowers each summer.
