I had some tough decisions to make when choosing this weeks renter!
After mulling over my choices I finally decided to let Shelly from The Dramedy of Life have the room for the week. Sure, she just came back from a short vacation, but she’s going to be renovating her site soon, perhaps even moving it to a brand new address, so she really needed the room. It’s going to be noisy over there with all that work going on and she wants a place that is a little quieter to do her wonderful writing in. My hubby will probably try to teach her guitar and talk her ear off while she’s here, but she has my permission to just ignore him if she wants.
Thanks to all that put a bid in to rent my little room. I think a couple of you have bid in the past too! Please keep trying, as I will pick you soon.
BTW – To all that have been commenting on my injury … the latest comments mostly say “glad you are feeling better” I’m not sure where you are getting that from because I’m absolutely miserable.

Wow that’s a very nice little group of bidders. I like Shelly though… she’s always been a good egg for drama relief. And hey… if it wasn’t for your landlord over at Panic… then you might be homeless this week too… lol…
BTW… I won’t say glad to hear your feeling better… but I will say that I HOPE you feel better…

Thanks so much for the room! And I would be honored to have guitar lessons — just don’t be offended by my tone-deaf ear!!! 🙂

I love how you did this. I hope you don’t mind if I borrow this idea. Great way for people to know you reviewed their bids and still give them exposure. It’s great when a landlord can learn something new from their renter….thanks again.

I think it was just marvelous to give a little shout to all the blogs that wanted to rent your space.
Those “denied” emails always make you wonder why you weren’t selected.
Take care

Sorry I was one of the ones who said “glad you’re feeling better.” I guess it was this line that made me say it:
“I didn’t feel as bad as I thought I would when I got up Friday morning.”
In retrospect, that was pretty lame of me considering how much pain you are in! “Not feeling as bad” doesn’t necessarily mean much when you’re in that much pain! Sorry!
