I need help!
Yes I know, you probably already guessed that I need help, but I mean I need assistance in helping some of the people that are signing up for my blogrolls.
I’m managing four different blogrolls that people are welcome to join.
- Fabulous Photoblogs Blogroll
- Green Thumb Sunday Meme & Blogroll
- I Am Canadian Blogroll
- Toronto Bloggers Blogroll
The trouble is- I’m having a problem helping some of the people that are signing up for my blogrolls. Some of the people are using:
- Free WordPress.com
- Typepad
- LiveJournal (I don’t think this one hasn’t come up yet, but I bet it will)
- Blogger
I think I’ve got the blogger instructions mostly figured out – ie make a post, put the blogroll on that, then link to it in your sidebar. But the others? It seems impossible to put blogroll code on Free WordPress.com. Has anyone done this correctly?
If anyone can help out by sending me some simple easy to understand instructions on how to add the blogroll code to a Typepad, wordpress.com, livejournal and or Blogger blog I’d really appreciate it. What I’d like to do, if and when all of these are figured out is create an “Adding a Blogroll to your blog” FAQ, that in the end will be beneficial to everyone.
Please help?

I haven’t done blogger beta yet, but the old blogger just involves editing the template. Blogger itself has a help page for this sort of thing:

Tell them to make sure to save everything in their current template in a backup text file, just to be safe! And PREVIEW before saving and publishing!

thanks for replying I’m sure some of them might need help with adding links to the sidebar.
My real problem though is telling my peeps how to put a javascript code in a post or in their sidebar … particularly on Typepad and WordPress.com because neither of those blog platforms seem to accept javascript code within a post/page. Totally sucks!
