Cold weather blooms

I think that some time in the New Year my kitchen table will start to look like this again.

I’ve got Amaryllis beginning to grow new shoots and preparing to bloom in January or February, the orchid looks like it might put out some blooms again around that time too, and the prayer plant (the leafy green one in the background) is ready too. All are enjoying the sunny space in front of my kitchen window.

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

An orchid! I have orchids up today, too lol – but not my own 🙂
Prayer plants are so cool…I’ve had several of them.
    Have a great Sunday, Tricia!

I never thought to show my orchid. It just bloomed. I will have to get some of it for Christmas Eve.

My Christmas Cactus is up today.

Oh, your kitchen window will for sure look great at the beginning of next year. I LOVE Amaryllis but do not have one this year.
