You know it’s getting bad when there’s even spam directed at Moose!

I run four mailing lists. They’re reptile related since my two websites are all about reptiles, so between the mail that I get from the lists I run, other mailing lists I’m on, email and comment email that comes in from my many blogs, and the three blogrolls that I run I get over 1000 emails a day. At least 300 of those emails each day are spam. Sometimes half the email I get is spam. It’s crazy!

Plus, lately my blogs are being hit really hard with spam too. Each day when I check on my blogs I find anywhere from 50 to 400 spam comments! I’m so thankful for Akismet.

Now you know what you can do with your old monitors. This gave me an idea. I should collect a bunch of old monitors and build a monitor archway leading into my garden. Nah, that’d be tacky wouldn’t it? LOL

Please Only list your name if you have a recent Photo Scavenger hunt post. Non Photo hunt participants links will be removed. Also please don’t link and run, that’s just rude.

Well, that’s done and over tech. Let’s hope that spam soon will be done and over too! I’ve noticed an increase in the amount of spam to the blog lately, let’s hope that it’s not going to be a trend….

BTW: How did it go, did you find my email with the tip useful?

yes the monitors in the garden would be tacky unless you quickly cover them with a thick growing vine!

I know what you mean about spam! I can’t beliieve how much is out there and all for something usless! Poor Moose!

My tangled technology is posted. Happy Saturday!

I also think you could cover it with a vine of some kind–maybe some morning glories. 🙂

Ha, ha, ha this computer archway is really funny ! I read about your spam complaints, I mustn’t be very interesting because besides an add for Viagara (which I didn’t need) and somebody who proposed me a million dollars which I refused because I have enough, lol, nothing happened.

How funny, I think my cat got spam the other day. It’s bad when computers become nothing more than legos to the big boys.

    Mine is up.

That is brilliant! The only downfall with the garden is that they would get all wet. How would you connect them to the internet if they are all wet…

Love the cartoon … I haven’t gotten spammed yet ‘cuz Mom edits my email, but it could happen, right?

The monitor idea is tacky, but it could be really pretty covered in snow!

My Photo Hunt photo is up. Stop by!

Spam! ACK! I would love to flood the spammers with a million messages to get back at them! LOL Wow…seems like the monitor art was done by techs with far too much time on their hands! LOL

My husband won’t throw anything away. As a result we have old phones, old computers, old monitors. I’m not sure we have enough for an arch, well not yet anyway.
My dad was so bothered about his personal information being hi-jacked, that when he got a new phone he took his old phone and beat it to death with a hammer before throwing it away! At least he’s got the excuse of being 90 years old.
