Wordless Wednesday
Successful therapy?
I don’t know why I found this photo funny.
Anorexia is after all a very serious condition and I don’t want to downplay that here, but obviously this man has a sense of humor if he’s wearing that t-shirt. His therapy for anorexia must have been extremely successful, perhaps the most successful therapy ever.
I don’t think I’m going to use Mr. Linky anymore. I’m tired of people, Wordless Wednesday and other meme participants coming by and leaving a link and no comment. I think it’s very rude.
Besides, with my recent Muser links (just below every post) you get a better link anyway since there is no rel no follow tag around the recent commenters link. Google and other search engines will actually follow that link and it will count to help give anyone who comments here a valid link and hopefully a slightly better page rank in the future. The people who’ve just been leaving a link on my Mr. Linky have been doing themselves (and me) a disservice by linking and running.

I can understand you not liking people linking and leaving no comments but I know that there are some who aren’t allowed to post comments if they are blogging at work (I know my IT Department did a lock-down) so maybe that’s part of the issue. Still – it is quite annoying.
Great picture by the way even if it would be considered in poor taste by some – whatever this guy did it, it certainly worked and then some!

OMG! Yes, obviously he has a sense of humor 🙂 I wonder why we have so much weight problems – both ways – in this world. I believe that a big deal in this has to do with stress, we have such a stressful world nowadays. And that feels so darn unnecessary! *sigh*
How is everything going with the camera pills “assignment”…? I hope you’re getting your money for it!
BTW: come on over and warm yourself at our flaming new blog look. It’s supposed to be temporary, just to get rid of the Santa, but I’m not sure, maybe I grow too fond of it… *lol*

that’s a funny picture Tricia! Love it.
You are right about it. And recently i have clicked on some links at ww site but there was no ww pic! Some people add just to make people visit their sites?! That’s ok if you participate. but if you don’t, why do you add? i don’t understand such people Tricia. I respect and support your decision.

The shirt is just too funny! Hope he paid good for the therapy because it worked!
I so agree with the Mr. Linky. That is why I quit using it once I moved to WordPress! I list all my visitors like you do and make it easy to link to them! That way if they don’t want to stop and comment thats ok with me!
My photo is up. Happy Wednesday!

LOL he has a good sense of humor – that’s a great shirt.
I also got rid of Mr. Linky long ago – I’m using WP and all I do is check through comments, press links and visit.
Hope you’re doing well.
Sending good vibes your way,
Frances

That’s a funny photo! I should get a shirt like that. 🙂
Sometimes people just use the widget because of time constraints. I have done it because I thought it was better than not letting you know that I was here. Sorry if that bugged you.

WOW that’s an amazing testament to what therapy can do lol

Bet he beat cibophobia, too — the fear of food.
I’d think anorexia and morbid obesity are near equal in seriousness. That’s probably why the photo is so darned funny. That and the guy sporting the shirt is enjoying the joke. He’s giving us all something to think about (Why am I laughing? Why is he laughing?) and that’s always a good thing. The guy’s a genius. A big genius.

Funny pic. Liked it a lot.
I have used Mr Linky on sites but have always left comments. Will not be using it myself now though – as you’ve enlightened me as to what can happen. Thanks

He was definately looking for the humor effect with that T-shirt! Happy WW – mine’s up!

I agree that it is very rude to drop a link and not comment. I try to visit the blogs that take part in on WW not just on Wednesday but through the week too. It is nice to get 30 + comments on Wednesday, but it be nicer if some of those were return readers. Forgive me if I don’t comment on your photo, but Anorexia is a sensitive subject for me. Have a great week.

I love that photo (wish I had found it for my site LOL). You have fabulous blogs!!! Thanks for a smile I needed today.

Besides beating “Anorexia” that guy looks like he also “Beat Up” every person in every Burger joint in the U.S. and ate everything in site then went on to do the same at every Donut shop that he could find…
hehehe

Hi Tricia, would you like to join a whole new blog? It’s an open blog, and any one who posts there can put their link of the blogroll. (No one has yet because it’s brand new).
It’s called wofoblog.
It is created to be a meeting place or central place for different bloggers from around the world. It’s only just started – brand new canvas ready to paint.
Anyone can post there, and edit what they do etc (it’s contributor level at wordpress; which I guess you are using here due to the link on the right. ).
The idea is that you get a different blogging experience, new readers, and you can if you want pull those readers back to your “home†blog here.
I do hope you check it out. It would be great if you posted at some stage (hopefully sooner), as your blog is interesting and well written. And that sense of humour regarding the photo is attractive (what caught my eye).
All the best, and feel free to email me if you have any questions, too. I’ve bookmarked your site and will be back some more any way. cheers.
