This weeks theme is Wild
I caught this common bird, a House Sparrow I think, sitting on the electric wire in my backyard this summer.
Fluffing the feathers:
We keep bird feeders in the garden, and even though we didn’t fill them that much this past year we’ve always had lots of different birds in the yard. Everything from golden finches to sparrows, Blue Jays, crows, and grackles frequent my yard. I grow a lot of flowers that birds like so, other than the bird feeders, perhaps that’s why they enjoy our yard.
Those are some great pictures – you must have a camera with a really good lens!
Given how beautiful you keep your yard it is not surprising that birds like to come and visit whether there is birdseed or not! Very nice photos for the theme! Great choice!
My photo is up. Happy Saturday!
what a sweet little bird 🙂 🙂 thanks for sharing him with us 🙂
That’s sweet.
Far cry from the wild and crazy cat.
We have these little birds too, but I can’t put a feeder in our garden, because of my four little bird killers !
I try to come to the party it all depends what time it is here and if I am still or not yet at my computer.
Thanks for the invitation. I hope there are no artichokes … (I wrote today about my first time eating them)
Love bird pictures!! Mine is up too.
