I was in so much pain last night that I never did end up going to bed. I ended up hanging out on a forum answering posts and just trying to take my mind off the pain as I stared at my computer screen last night.
I didn’t end up going to bed until about ten a.m. or so this morning, and then the pain woke me again at 3 p.m..
I have fevers that spike up to 104 F or so very quickly and then almost as quickly go back down to normal again. This must have happened at least 50 times in the last 24 hours. Plus I’ve got pain in my lower right side that’s very similar to what appendicitis pain feels like, however this is how my pain and Crohn’s symptoms present so it’s likely not appendicitis.
I can’t say that I’ve been feel great for most of this year, but this is the worst I’ve felt in a long while.
I think I’ll try to get a bit of work done on the computer and then go back to lie down for a while.

Before I was diagnosed with Crohn’s, I must have been told 10 times that I had appendicitis, I finally had to say “Look, if this was appendicitis I wouldve been dead by now! Let’s think of what else it could be”. I think the standard trick is if you push on the pain & let go & it feels better, it isn’t appendicitis, but if it’s worse when you let go then get to a dr. Hope you feel better.
