Do you have a wish list of places that you like to visit sometime? It seems that my list grows longer and longer instead of getting shorter as I check off countries and sites from my list! Some day, some day.
One of the countries that Chris and I would like to visit is England and other areas of the UK like Cardiff, Wales.
My husband and I both have roots in the UK. His are mostly Irish, while mine is a mix of English, Welsh, Irish and Scottish (with surprisingly a little native Indian thrown in for good measure). So you can probably see why we are interested in visiting the UK.
We’d definitely want to stay in London for a while. I want to be able to afford to visit all the places that we’re interested in so we’ll be looking for fairly Cheap Hotels in London. There are so many things we’d love to see there such as Buckingham palace, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park, the London Aquarium and many other well known sites.
Then as I said earlier I’d want to visit Cardiff, to trace some of my ancestry. I’ll have to look into Cardiff Hotels or perhaps a nice little bed and breakfast. I actually think I’m more interested in going to Cardiff than London!
If we can have a long enough vacation I’d love to go to several places in the Uk such as Ireland, but if we don’t have a very long vacation we’ll stay mostly in the London area. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit Manchester and naturally find a great Manchester hotel to stay in. If we go to Manchester we’ll probably visit it’s many museums and perhaps take in a football game.
What countries, cities or sites are on your wish list to visit?

My wishlist of cities I like to visit:
1. Kopenhagen, Denmark
a friend told me, that’s a really young and easy-going capital.
2. Amsterdam, Netherlands
You have to stay at the Flying Pig, that’s what I’ve been told.
3. New York, USA
Once in a lifetime you have to travel to the Big Apple, I guess!

Hi,
I live in Manchester and there’s loads of hotels to stay at. In the city center they go from 5 star (and a brand new Hilton) right down to 1 star.
The 1 star are basic, but good value. There are a whole bunch of hotels next to Manchester airport but they’re pricier.
If you come to Manchester you need to see the Science & Industry Museum – not as great as London’s Natural History Museum but pretty good. Also come and see the Royal Exchange a theatre that’s built inside an old trading exchange and is theatre in the round with the auditorium looking rather like a space craft.
