Yesterday I noticed that one of my roses that I’d yet to photograph was blooming. We had a guest over for several hours yesterday so I didn’t photograph the flower, however, a little while ago I decided to go out to my garden and take a photo of the flower.
Just a couple of photos … yeah right.
I was outside for an hour and ten minutes. Guess how many photos I took of the many flowers in my garden? About 300!
How many people do you know that can take that many photos in a little over an hour? That’s five pictures per minute! Maybe more than that when you take away photo set up and cleaning lens time. No wonder I’m a little tired out after my garden adventure!
Now the tedious task of uploading them to the computer and cropping a few of them begins …

I do that at concerts. I get too camera-happy! I just keep clicking away ’cause I know in the end, I’m gonna end up with at least a handful of priceless shots and it’ll be worth it.

Nothing wrong with that!!! I love photography and sometimes it can get addicting when your really into your shots. Did you get any good pictures? It might be fun to enter a couple into this contest that 1-800-Flowers.com is doing. It’s called “Fields of the Wold”. I’m sure you have several contestant worthy photos out of 300!!! 🙂 Theres more info on the contest here if your interested : 1800flowers.eprize.net/fieldsoftheworld/
