I’m still trying to decide if I’ll be going to Las Vegas in November for P0stiecon or not. There hasn’t been as much information about the event as I’d like so I’m having trouble deciding whether we should go or not. I’ve also been sicker than normal lately and if that continues there’s no way I’ll be able to go.
I’ll have to decide soon though as we’ll need to book a hotel and flight if we’re going. There’s two conventions together and hey it’s Las Vegas, so I’m sure there’s lots of conventions going on there all the time.
If we do go to Las Vegas I hope we’ll be able to see some sights while we’re there. I’d love to go to Caesars Palace and catch some Vegas shows too. Neither Chris or I are much into gambling, but you never know we might try our hand at it.
One reason that I’d like to go is to meet several of the new blogging friends that I’ve made over the past nine months or so. It’d be great to get together with some fellow posties.
Who else is going to to the Blog World Expo and P0stiecon?

You will love Caesar’s.
And the food is superb and the shopping outstanding.
Let me know if you and your husband come out for the convention.

Last time I was there, I flew in for a concert and flew home the next day. Just take the time to walk up and down the strip — the fountains & faux architecture and people watching are amazing.
btw…what is postiecon??

Hi, I just stumbled onto your site. I live in Vegas, so I will probably go to the Blog World Expo. I am still fairly new to blogging, so it should be a great learning experience for me. There’s lots of stuff to see in Vegas if you do go!

MY birthday is in November and I’m turning 21, I was hoping to make it there around the same time but I just found out that hotel rooms for 3 nights with our whole group would be a total of $1200. ๐ dont see that happening anymore lol

If you make the trip be sure to take out a temporary health care policy as US medical providers will not accept your Canadian Health Care and US medical care is very expensive. (And really no better that what you have in Canada.)

Have never been, but have heard mixed reviews. I think it depends on if you don’t mind all of the filth in the city. More so, I guess it matters what you call filth, but the lights and attractions I hear are fabulous.
