Lets skip Winter and go right to Spring

This weeks theme is Smelly

Karlrosenfieldpeony10

I think it’s finally starting to cool down a bit here. I’m not a big fan of winter so I almost wish that we could just skip winter and move on to spring. At least then I’d be able to admire my lovely Karl Rosenfield peonies again.

These peonies have a delicate sweet scent. So yes, this flower counts for todays smelly Photo Hunter theme.

I’m with you on this one! If I could stay home all winter, it would be fine. But the driving is so scary that I’m grateful for global warming.

The photo was breath taking, but I do disagree: As a Norwegian, I just love winter, snow and crispy fresh air – so much fun, like skiing, skating and make snow angles out in the snow you know!

Btw: As a blog loving person: Why don’t you come over and support my announcement for the Peace Price winner of 2008?

    Great photo.

I prefer being hot to cold… but this summer was really a scorcher. Over 100 degrees for over a month, ruining fun outside with my kiddo. So, I’m glad it’s finally getting cool her (just the other day in fact), in TN.

That said, in about a month, I’ll be whining for summer again.

Renny oh I do enjoy winter as well. I grew up in Ottawa and spent a lot of time skating on the canal and skiing and so on. It’s just with these fevers that I get all the time with my crohns lately winter isn’t very enjoyable anymore because even a slighly cool day feels very cold to me if I’ve got a fever.

I love peonies! I had 2 in front of my dining room window in Illinois. It’s too hot for them here in Texas. It’s still in the mid 80’s here so I just wish we’d get out of summer and into fall!

Beuatiful picture, seeing this I’d vote for immediate spring, too, cause I’m not that much of a winter-person either 😉 Espeacially as the summer over here has been a great disappointment 🙁

The only day supposed to be snowy and cold for me is Christmas.

I agree 100% – I hate the cold weather. If I had my way, the seasons would be divided up like this:

We would have three weeks of fall where the leaves were pretty and the air was crisp (not ugly dead trees everywhere). Then, the second it got (really) cold, it would be winter – white snow everywhere (not the icky slush and bare trees), and that would last for two months or so. That way we could all ski/snowboard for a good couple of months and the holidays would be white.

And then…… this would leave nine months left for spring and summer!!!! 🙂

    LOL
