Ok I’m happy that the powers that be decide to help us remember what happened on Lost at the end of the season last year with tonights two hour episode, but WTF is with the scrolling commentary at the bottom of the screen?
Does ABC think we’re children that can’t remember unless we read the really cheesy lines that are supposedly telling us what’s going on on screen?
It’s really distracting! I hate it!
Come on ABC … if we really couldn’t remember everything that happened in those last two episodes most of us could read recaps or even watch the complete shows online.
Did/does anyone else find the scrolling commentary terribly distracting? and cheesy?

Hey Tricia – how are you? Sorry I haven’t been around lately – I know I’m a bad girl! Just saw your update on Facebook and realized I’d better get over here to see what you’re up to –
and – lo and behold!!!!
You have a S ad on your sidebar….!!! Well, you did a minute ago, but I don’t see it now. Looked very interesting 🙂 Very cool – I can’t wait!

I am a big Lost fan too. But thanks for the warning on the running commentary. I worked while it was on, so I will probably skip watching the recording.

I did not watch it. Are you going to watch tonight? I might. Not sure yet.

Well it is ABC. All big media types consider the “public” sheep who need to be lead.

last summer, i obsessively watched all episodes over a 1 month period while separated from my husband (sometimes got up at 2 am and told myself “just one ep.”). we’re back together now and he’s never watched the show (nuff said ;). i’m glad abc did this cuz now i don’t have to explain to him what’s going on. plus, i have season 3 from itunes…so, 2 thumbs up from me to abc!

Lost starts for us in Britain this Sunday. Hopefully we won’t get it.
