This isn’t my best shot, but given that there are so many bees buzzing around my garden these days that showing you one of the creatures in flight is very fitting!
I caught this Bumble Bee taking flight after collecting pollen from one of my flower … the Balloon flowers I do believe, however it could have been any one of my flowers as the bees seem to love just about all of them.
Do you ever try to take pictures of the bees, butterflies or other insects that visit your yard?

Those bees and butterflies are so tricky to photograph. Good thing we have digital cameras now otherwise I would be throwing away rolls of film on trying to catch just one!

That’s some close-up. They are hardly likely to stay still and pose.

Wow! Congrats on a great picture! I once got a bumblebee on a flower but never one flying. Very nice!
Would you be interested in a link exchange with my newest blog? It sure could use a little link-love to get up and running and your blog seems to be a somewhat similar niche.

Shooting a flying object could be very hard thing to do, but you made it well! In my opinion, maybe it will be look better if you could place the bee lower as I see there are too many empty spaces below it. 😀

yeah…i tried taking shots at insects, bees for one and also birds. So hard to catch them during flyt. So, this one’s really commendable.
