Do you find it confusing how some restaurants and coffee shops name their menu items?
Sure, some sandwiches and dishes have amusing names, but if you can’t figure out what the food is when you are reading the menu your dining experience could be quite interesting.
Take Starbucks for example? What’s with the cup size names?
After seeing this video that I first came across over at Three Cent Stamp I know I’m not the only one who finds ordering a drink at Starbucks more than a little confusing!

I don’t think the video creator actually has a website. I checked out her youtube profile and non is listed, but that’s when I discovered all of her other videos. She’s very funny and creative. As I said check out more of her videos if you liked this one!
The most frustrating thing for me is when restaurants/ cafes adopt terms from other languages etc. with no particular justification, and you have to decide how to say it before ordering, which you generally do in a mumbled tone to disguise the inevitable mispronunciation.
