I think something is setting off my eczema lately. I have this spot on the top of my right wrist and it’s getting worse.
I’ve had the spot on my wrist for about 15 years. Yeah – it just won’t go away at all.
It’s been getting bigger lately though. It’s also ugly. It’s a big purplish dry area of skin.
I’ve been out in the sun a lot lately … maybe sun exposure makes eczema worse?
Anyway, I just bought this eczema herbal treatment that I’m going to try. Hopefully it makes it go away or at least look a little better than it does right now. That would be nice.
Anyone else have eczema? Do you have any spots in a visible area? How do you treat yours?

A friend of mine said she uses Sudocrem. She buys it on ebay because apparently it’s made in Europe somewhere and she can’t find it where she lives. She swears by it.

I normally use Eumovate. This is a steroid cream, so you need to apply it lightly to make sure you don’t thin your skin. You can buy it over the counter in 25ml tubes ( I think), but for larger amounts it needs to be prescribed by your doctor.
If you apply this cream every morning and night your eczema will start disappearing in the matter of days.
Hope this helps

Yes I do have a cream with Cortisone in it and it’s prescribed so it’s stronger than the over the counter stuff. It helps.

I also have an eczema on my wrist but no matter what I do it stays the same. Only when I stay too much in the sun it gets a bit bigger and starts to itch, but otherwise, there’s really not much you can do.
