I’m thinking of giving this blog a new look. As some of my long time readers know I have a few websites and several blogs and over the last week or so I’ve slowly been updating all of the sites and I’ve changed the look of two blogs so far.
Approximately a year ago I purchased the StudioPress theme package, which at the time had about 30 WordPress themes, there’s over 45 themes in the StudioPress Pro Plus All-Theme Package now. I only used one of the themes on one of my sites when I first purchased the Theme pack, and I guess I’ve been slow to start using the themes on my sites but I’m using them now and I love them. I have a feeling that over the next few months most of my blogs will have shiny new StudioPress WordPress Themes.
I think I’ve been using my current theme for this site for about three years so it’s definitely time for a change.
Any suggestions as to what you’d like to see on Tricia’s Musings? I like the two column sidebar look – how do you feel about that look in a WordPress theme? I know some people like pages that are super simple and others don’t mind busy pages. Tell me what you’d like to see. I hope to make changes to this site by the end of the week or so.

I have a suggestion that doesn’t have anything to do with WordPress. I would like to see more pictures! You talk about stuff, like your basement and it immediately makes the reader curious. “What does this really look like?” Just a little picture here and there would be nice, maybe at least one or two per post?

Personally I am a big fan of single column sidebar as it gives more white space and less clutter but given that you are doing it in Studio Press it gives you a lot of control on design.

I have to agree with Erica, photos definitely enhances a site as a picture helps un interact more but i still think studio press is helpful

I saw your other blog. It’s actually nice. I am hoping the Tricia’s Musings will still have a neat theme for its new look.

Actually, your blog is already pleasing to read although pictures will also add charm to your site. However, too much of photographs might make the site heavy.
