Wordless Wednesday
Aw poor Ugly Betty … guess they really don’t like her in New Zealand if they have to cover the ad for her show with a paper bag. LOL
I love it when an advertisement makes me laugh. Did you find it humorous too?
Random Thoughts about life in general, living in the big city of Toronto

The day time temperatures are still nice enough but it’s beginning to get close to zero at night these days.
Surprisingly my roses, sunflowers and many of my other flowers are still blooming away quite happily as if they don’t care that winter will soon be here.
I took this photo a couple of years ago and I believe it’s of my Compte de Chambord rose, but it could be Jacques Cartier. I really should name my roses when I upload them to flickr eh?

This weeks theme is Classic
Here’s a classic photo of my city, Toronto, at sunset. The tall structure in the center is the CN tower. I believe it’s still considered the worlds tallest free standing structure, but I think a tower is being built in Japan that will rival it in height.

I grew this dahlia last year and I never did get around to finding more like this one to plant this year. I just loved the type of flowers that this dahlia produced. It’s quite pretty isn’t it?
I had planted this flower in my front boulevard. It’s a short dahlia – only about two feet tall, so it fits most small garden beds quite nicely.

This is the Tiffany Rose. Aren’t it’s delicate petals beautiful?
I’ve only got one of these rose plants and I find it rather stingy with it’s beautiful flowers, but when it does produce some blooms they are absolutely outstanding!
