I’m sure that you heard about how Jessica Simpson botched the Dolly Parton song 9 – 5 at this years Kennedy Center Honors, we now she’s re taped the song but she didn’t like the take so she’s been cut from the show that airs December 26th. How anyone could botch 9 to 5 I have no idea, but she did.
Who would have guessed that Britney Spears would be named Most Controversial Celebrity of 2006!
It’s not like she did anything wrong this year … uh I’d better think on that one as I seem to remember the no panty charade, driving with her son on her lap, dropping her son on his head- he didn’t he end up with a fractured skull? A really wacky YouTube video, and the big mess with Kevin Federline and their divorce and wasn’t there something about a sex tape too? Of course she deserves the award – I don’t think anyone is more deserving.
Natasha Lyonne turned herself into authorities in Manhattan. A bench warrant had been issued about a year ago on charges of harassment and trespassing. He lawyer had told authorities that she’s been attending rehab groups and had checked into a drug program last February. Apparently the charges against her will be dropped if she continues rehab and stay out of trouble for the next six months.
Hilary Swank and her agent, John Campisi are dating, as confirmed by Swank herself. Campisi was married and his wife of 11 years has filed for divorce.
Lara Flynn Boyle married Donald Ray Thomas in San Antonia Texas this past week. She’d made headlines in the last few years with her on again off again romance with Jack Nicholson, and she’s also dated David Spade and Kyle machlachlan.
Diddy is the proud father of Twin girls, born December 21st, with his girlfriend Kim Porter. Diddy is now the father of four children.
Remember the O.J. Book “If I Did It” and how it never got published? Well, Judith Regan, a publisher working with Harper Collins was fired over her involvement with the controversial book.
I’ve been keeping my eye on these new beach cruiser bikes for some time now. With their stylish design I have no doubt that no only are they useful and functional bikes, but they could become quite the trendy item.
Take the Chopper bikes for example. I just love the design of these bikes. Take a look at the Rebel Chopper to see what I mean and see what I mean:

There’s the classic beach cruiser, multi-speed cruiser, Chopper cruiser, Kids, womens and mens cruisers. You’ll also find that the colour choices are quite nice. From pink bikes with yellow trim to classic blue with yellow tire rims. The bikes are bright but the colour choices are tastefully done. Besides, who wants a boring old plain one colour bike anyway? Well if you really do I think some of their styles do come all one colour, but it’s nice to have that contrast.
If I were to choose a new colour combo for their bike styles I might go with a deep purple with very very light pink on the tires and fenders.
I’ve seriously been thinking about getting one of these beach cruiser bikes as I think the style quite nice, and they look like they’d feel very comfortable to ride.

Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump are at war.
The trouble started this past Wednesday when Rosie openly called Trump a “snake-oil salesman” following Tuesday’s announcement that he would not fire Miss USA Tara Conner. The war continued on Thursday when O’Donnell made more comments on the View and went on to post her thoughts on her blog.
“What a fun night of viewing,” O’Donnell said on the air about the TV news coverage of her feud with the star of The Apprentice.
Trump fired back in his own so eloquent way in a segment on ET The Insider:
Trump plans to sue her for questioning his financial situation as she had stated on her blog that Trump had been near bankruptcy in the early 90’s. As you hopefully saw when you watched the video, Trump threatened to have some men woo O’Donnell’s companion, Kelli Carpenter. O’Donnell stated on Fridays “The View” “I brought Kelli here today. I was afraid to leave her at home, in case someone with a comb-over came over and stole her from me.”
I’m beginning to think that Barbara Walters made a big mistake in hiring Rosie for The View. Last week she offended the Chinese and this week she’s gunning for Trump. Who will she set her sights on next week I wonder?
A website named the neverending link has come up with an interesting advertising concept.
They’ve created a site where each line in an ongoing story is made up of a link to another website or online store.
It makes for an interesting read. It’s kind of like one of those memes or forum topics where someone starts a story with a sentence and the next person that comes along adds in another line and so on and so on until you have several very interesting paragraphs of story text. It’s exactly like that but it’s made up of links.
The first 500 words used in this ongoing advertisement are free, then the next 500 words cost .50 cents a word and so on, and so on.
If you’re interested go and see the site now as I’d say the words are still in the lower price range right now, but as the site gets more popular the price per word will increase. Even if you only have a blog or simple website it might be worth trying this out as form of advertising.
