Birkhead and Dannielynn submit DNA samples

It looks like DNA paternity testing has finally begun. Samples from Dannielynn, Anna Nicole Smith’s 6 month old baby, and paternity contender Larry Birkhead were taken earlier today in a Bahamas doctors office.

The samples will be sent to a DNA lab in Columbus, OH for testing and then will be sent back to the Bahamas in four days.

Since Howard K. Stern is presumed to be Dannielynn’s father since his name is on the birth certificate he was not required to provide a DNA sample at this time.

If Birkhead’s DNA matches Dannielynn’s, Birkhead will be able to challenge Stern in a fight for custody. Stern’s DNA may be required at that time.

Take back the NET – stop the copyright thieves

I hate to write a post like this, but here goes:

If you are seeing this post and image on any site other than Celebrity Scoop http://www.feverishthoughts.com/celebrity/ then you are viewing a STOLEN copy of my post and image.

You are probably viewing it on a site that is called a Splog. That’s a site that steals other peoples posts from their blogs and websites, and often calls the stolen post their own work, although some do list where they originally got the post.

The site that copied this post did not ask my permission to copy my work. They are in violation of copyright laws.

If there is an image in the stolen post, they not only stole my image, but they are stealing the sites bandwidth too! That’s called hot-linking and it’s very poor netiquette not to mention also a copyright violation.

These sites are usually full of Google Adsense ads, and they are created just for the purpose of ripping off Google and all of the advertisers who use Adsense. Google’s advertisers and publishers should be extremely angry with these people. They are raising the price of advertising for advertisers and lowering the pay per click for legitimate Adsense users.

If you are the post thief who’s stealing my work and you are reading this message remove my feed from your site right now! All you are doing is creating duplicate content on the internet and it’s going to cause problems for both of our sites as far as page rank and Google site indexing goes.

Help me take back the net!

If you see this post on a site that it doesn’t belong on (see top of post), or if you discover that your own work has been stolen:

Please visit whois.net and type in the domain name for the site. This will tell you who the web hosting company for splog is. Visit the site host and make a complaint!

The Whois information might also give you the thieves real name, email address, home address and phone number – do with that whatever you please.

If the site is full of Google Adsense ads go to Google and report the site as a spammer.
- a- List the site in the box that says “The specific web page or site that is misbehaving:”
- b- Tick the box below that, that says “Duplicate site or pages”
- c- Then explain what the problem is in the comment section below. Be sure to say that the site has stolen content and appears to have been created just for the purpose of making money and ripping off Adsense.

If we keep complaining to web hosting companies and to Google they’ll start to work on better ways to stop these thieves in their tracks.

In the last two weeks almost every single one of my sites has had these splogs stealing their posts every single day. I’ve taken the measures that I’ve listed above in each case – plus I’ve taken my complaints and actions further in some cases.

From now on, whenever a site starts stealing my work I’m going to post a copy of this post on the affected site. Please feel free to use my idea – just change the content slightly please as we don’t want to create even more duplicate posts now do we?

What up it’s sleeve?

The company that sets me up with posting opportunities, says that they have a big announcement coming up in the next few weeks. They aren’t giving any hints as to what this “Big News” could be, so we are left to give it our best guess.

Now I know that since I’ve been with this company I’ve seen a dramatic increase site traffic on all of my sites. That’s probably because I’m posting more often, and I’m posting about a wider variety of topics than I did in the past.

Could their big news be something that might help us increase our site traffic even more? Maybe they’re going to start their own search engine and blog directory? Perhaps rival Google and the Open Directory project? Or perhaps they are going to become partners with Google, Yahoo or MSN in some way? That would be cool.

Let’s see. They already has a forum, and a blog. They’re a growing web 2.0 company. They’ve hooked up with a web hosting company to help their bloggers create their own websites rather than use free services. They have their own reality show that they are hoping to get televised. Ohhhhh maybe that’s it? Maybe they did get a television contract?

I know that they’ve been posting on their blog lately asking the bloggers who work with them to create “Audition” videos so that they might become part of the reality show.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but wouldn’t that be cool if I’m right? Maybe I’ll find a way to get on the show?

It’s official – Angelia adopts 3 year old Vietnamese Boy

Well, as I said in an earlier post there were rumors that Angelina Jolie was going to adopt a young Vietnamese boy. The news is official now, as Jolie’s rep has confirmed that she has adopted a three year old Vietnam born boy.

The childs name is Pax Thien Jolie and he was born in November 2003. His name means Peaceful Sky.

“Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my son,” the Oscar-winning actress wrote in the visitors’ book of the Tam Binh orphanage, according to Reuters. “I am sure he will miss your beautiful, caring staff as much as you will miss him.”

Jolie officially took custody of the child on Thursday in Vietnam, and they will remain in the Country for a week or so until the child’s American passport can be processed.

The boy had been abandoned at the hospital as a baby and had spent the rest of his short live living at the Tam Binh orphanage outside of Ho Chi Minh City. His birth parents have never been located, even though the facility tried to find them.

Jolie wasn’t accompanied by Brad Pitt when she went to the orphanage to with 5 year old Maddox to pick up her new son.

“Brad very much wanted to be there but is under contract working on a film in Los Angeles and as a result couldn’t go,” said Trevor Neilson, Jolie’s adviser on international affairs.

They were offered flowers and greeted at the orphanage by two dozen or more children dressed in traditional ao dai formal garb.

Angelina’s new son is said to be in good health and that he gets along well with other children although he’s a little bit shy.

Jolie applied for this adoption on her own, since Vietnamese law can make it difficult for unmarried couples to adopt. However the new child will be welcomed by Pitt. There’s no word yet, but perhaps he’ll formally adopt the child under US law once the boy is in the country.

Pax Thien’s adoption process apparently began shortly after Shiloh was born last May.

Don’t be surprised if another adoption takes place within the next year. Last December, on the Good Morning America show Jolie stated that it might be a good idea to “balance the races so there’s another African person in the house for Z [and] another Asian person in the house for Mad.”. Well Mad has his Asian companion now … If they adopt again I suppose that it could be a child from Africa for little Z.
