Go Fish is having a fun contest where you could win a date with a celeb. Are you up for it? I guess this one would be more for the guys since the celebrity that you could win a date with is Mirelly Taylor.

You might know Mirelly Taylor from movies and television shows like Kiss me again, Serving Sara, Las Vegas, Numb3rs. You can see some Free videos at GoFish.com of her. Plus, if you visit the site you can learn just what it will take to win a date with this beautiful celebrity.

The Seduce a Celeb contest will run on GoFish.com for the next 14 weeks. To enter the contest you need to watch Mirelly’s video. You’ll learn by watching the video that you must make three different videos to correspond with the three “call to actions” that she requests. Your video entries should be creative as you want to catch the eye of the voters. Then, once you’ve created your videos all you have to do is upload them to the site and hope that your videos do well.

Site visitors can watch and vote on the various contest submissions. Some of them are hilarious!

What I like about this contest is that the online audience can actually become part of the show through their video submissions, so it’s like an online reality show. Apparently Emmy award winning Producer Scott Sternberg and hottie Andrew Firestone from the Bachelor will also be part of the show.

I kind of like the idea of this contest. I’m going to be keeping an eye on it over the next three and a half months to see what happens. Perhaps, you, one of my readers, will win?

I wonder if this turns out to be a big hit if they’ll run another Seduce a Celeb contest? Maybe a male celeb next time? That’d be interesting.

Petition asks Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris

I know I’m a bit late on this but this has got to be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard of! Paris Hiltons friend Joshua apparently started a petition,that co-incidentally went up on Paris’ Myspace page asking that California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger pardon her from her 45 day jail sentence.

As you probably know she was sentenced for violating her terms of probation by driving with a suspended license. the punishment, handed down by a Los Angeles Superior Court last Friday, is already under appeal.

On her Myspace page Paris went on to say “I urge all fans and supporters and all that are outraged by injustice to sign this petition,”.

An injustice? Did someone make her get behind the wheel?

The governors office hasn’t viewed the petition but his spokesperson, Aaron McLear told the Associate press on Tuesday “We’ll treat this as we would any other case of this nature, but it would be premature for the governor to get involved until the individual has exhausted his or her judicial remedies,” McLear said.

If she does get pardoned it will just go to show that celebrities or in her case socialites live by different laws that the rest of us.

Pax to get Jolie-Pitt last name

Looks like little Pax Jolie, the boy that Angelina Jolie adopted two months ago from Vietnam will soon become Pax Jolie-Pitt.

Legal, to change the boys name Jolie must publish information about the boys change of name for four consecutive weeks in any publication. The law states this must happen in case anyone who wishes to legitimately contest the change of name has proper information and notification of the impending name change.

Angelina chose to publish her notices in the Daily Commerce, a very small legal journal with a circulation of only about 800. The notice has already been published three time and will run a final time in Fridays edition.

Jolie has a court hearing schedule for May 31st and this is when Pax is expected to officially become Jolie-Pitt.

Britney Spears appears at The House of Blues this week

Did you know that Britney Spears performed for the first time in three years on Tuesday night? She did a 14 minute set for screaming fans in San Diego. Now we know why she’s been working on her dance routines so much lately.

Spears wore a white pleated miniskirt and a black wig when she took the stage at San Diego’s House of Blues. Security guards held fans back as she lip synced her hit songs – Baby one more time, Do Something, I’m a slave 4 U, Breath for me and Toxic.

The show had the usual Spears coined effects of rapid fire costume changes, back up dancers and light and smoke effects. Britney even pulled a male fan up from the audience for a dirty dance.

The Millennium Dance Complex owner has heard Spears new work and says “They’ll be in the style we are all used to, the pop thing,” Robert Baker tells PEOPLE. “But she’s got bigger plans brewing, with music and dancing that’s a break from her old stuff. She’s really excited about that.”

Spears can also be seen playing at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California on Wednesday, and the Los Angeles House of Blues Thursday, and then the House of Blues Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay on Sunday. No new songs will be performed.

There’s also no word as to why she lip synced her songs. I find that a little odd.

Keira Knightley upset over weight debate

Keira Knighley, has said that she was devastated when images of her appeared in magazine articles about skinny celebrities. She felt terrible when all that came up.

“It appeared that I were promoting something when I absolutely was not. I am thin because that’s what I am, and I was thinner at that point because of the work I do. Nothing else.”

Knightly said that the photos were taken just after she finished filming the final installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.

“I had lost weight,” she says. “We were filming in searing temperatures and shooting fight scenes in which you were wearing a wetsuit underneath a load of corsets, fighting with heavy weights in the water. Can you imagine a more advanced cardio workout than that done hour after hour?”

She’s denied eating disorders for years. “Whatever people say about my weight they are all wrong.” She’s even visited her doctor to ask about how to put on weight.

“He told me that for someone of my body type to get to a [European] size 12, I would have to eat a lot of sh– food, stop exercising and drink loads,” she says. “But I don’t want to have to go ’round eating crap and being really unhealthy in order for people to stop having a go at me.”

Keira has even stated that she might quite acting at some point “I can see myself in five years or whatever just giving the whole thing up. I made a decision recently that I want a life instead.”
