Being Belisi’s What’s beautiful to you contest

Belisi fashions has just begun a comment contest. They’ve posed a question Belisi asks, “What’s Beautiful to You?” and they’d like you to fill out your answer on their Being Belisi blog.

They’re asking this question because they have a strong belief that there’s more to beauty than being glamorous. Anything and everything can be beautiful at some point, and they’d love to hear your response.

What’s beautiful to me is the first light of dawn. It’s color and tone is amazing, and often blinding. The whole process of watching a plant get it’s first leaves in spring and then going on to form the beginnings of flower buds and then to bloom is beautiful too. I try to find beauty each and every day and it’s most often in my garden that I find it. Nature is beautiful.

Is it just me or are there more youths out there with drug, alcohol and behavioral problems than there was in the past? Perhaps we are just hearing about it more these days because troubled parents are more open about problems going on in their home, and the affected adolescents don’t always hide their drug and alcohol use.

The clinic staff is well educated and as they work with the adolescents in their care they listen to them and attempt to work with them so that they can enjoy life again without drugs or alcohol. What Mobile phones do the celebrities use?

Celebrity watchers. What phones do you think are most popular with your favorite stars? My guess is that, just like us, they are also purchasing a number of the mobile phone models and styles listed on Wirefly’s list of 10 most popular cell phones for 2006.

Since the Motorola Razr is at the top of I think just about every popular mobile phone list that’s out right now I’m going to be really brave and say that I’m pretty sure that many of our favorite stars are using Razr.

Bring on the Romance

Wow, in less than a month it will be Valentines day. I was wondering if any of the men out there have started to think about what to get your girlfriend or spouse or started to plan a romantic evening?

I just came across a site called Romance For Everyone and the site is just full of romantic ideas, tips, Relationship articles and even Romantic poems. I was thinking that any man or woman who’s interested in planning a romantic evening or weekend with their loved one might enjoy visiting this site and reading some of the Romantic ideas and tips. Well, if you need some new romance ideas that is.

One section that I’ve really enjoyed is the Romantic Love Letters area. It’s fun just reading the letters but you could also read through them and get some ideas on how to compose your own love letter if you have writers block or just don’t feel as comfortable as some when it comes to expressing how you really feel about your special someone.

Here’s a really nice quote from one of the letters:

“Your look warms my heart. Your touch
makes it quiver. Being close to you fills my heart with contentment. Touching and
caressing you, in completely innocent ways, comforts me and my heart. “

This reminds me a little bit of the love letters that I found after my parents died. My father had written love letters to my mother all through out World War II. They had only gotten married 7 days before he was sent off to Europe so all they had for four years were their hopes and dreams and the beautiful love letters that I found.
