I’m sure that you heard about how Jessica Simpson botched the Dolly Parton song 9 – 5 at this years Kennedy Center Honors, we now she’s re taped the song but she didn’t like the take so she’s been cut from the show that airs December 26th. How anyone could botch 9 to 5 I have no idea, but she did.

It’s not like she did anything wrong this year … uh I’d better think on that one as I seem to remember the no panty charade, driving with her son on her lap, dropping her son on his head- he didn’t he end up with a fractured skull? A really wacky YouTube video, and the big mess with Kevin Federline and their divorce and wasn’t there something about a sex tape too? Of course she deserves the award – I don’t think anyone is more deserving.

Natasha Lyonne turned herself into authorities in Manhattan. A bench warrant had been issued about a year ago on charges of harassment and trespassing. He lawyer had told authorities that she’s been attending rehab groups and had checked into a drug program last February. Apparently the charges against her will be dropped if she continues rehab and stay out of trouble for the next six months.

Hilary Swank and her agent, John Campisi are dating, as confirmed by Swank herself. Campisi was married and his wife of 11 years has filed for divorce.

Lara Flynn Boyle married Donald Ray Thomas in San Antonia Texas this past week. She’d made headlines in the last few years with her on again off again romance with Jack Nicholson, and she’s also dated David Spade and Kyle machlachlan.

Diddy is the proud father of Twin girls, born December 21st, with his girlfriend Kim Porter. Diddy is now the father of four children.

Remember the O.J. Book “If I Did It” and how it never got published? Well, Judith Regan, a publisher working with Harper Collins was fired over her involvement with the controversial book.

Most anticipated break up 2006

I’d say that this was the most anticipated or expected break up of the year. Who didn’t see this coming when they got married?

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline had been battling rumors that their relationship was on the rocks throughout their two years together.

On Nov. 7, Spears made it official, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The two are now battling over custody of sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 3 months.

Britney Spears voted worst dog owner 2006 Who comes up with these things?

Apparently Oprah Winfrey is top dawg when it comes to caring for her pets, where as Britney Spears is the worlds worst dog owner according to an online vote by readers of The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog magazines.

”She once had three Chihuahuas . . . and never left home without at least one of them on her arm,” the magazines’ editor said. “As soon as she met K-Fed and had kids they [the dogs] disappeared.”

Paris Hilton hasn’t improved much. She was last years “worst” winner, and this year she moved up to second worst for “treating her dogs like accessories.”

Winfrey, the owner of five dogs, was voted this year’s best celebrity dog owner. The talk-show host replaced 2005 winner Joss Stone, and beat off competition from Tori Spelling and Nicollette Sheridan.
