TMZ is reporting that they’ve heard from a source who attended the Hot 99.5 concert Friday night that featured the band Good Charlotte at the Clarendon Ballroom and the source says that Joel told the crowd that he proposed to his girlfriend Nicole Ritchie on Thursday.
Reps haven’t confirmed the news, but if he told a crowd at a concert I’d say it’s true.
Actor Eddie Murphy is finally owning up to the fact that he is in fact the father of the baby that Melanie Brown, Former Spice Girl, gave birth to in April.
He and Melanie lunched together last week and shortly after meeting with Brown Murphy’s rep stated that he “acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy.”
Throughout Brown’s pregnancy Murphy had questioned the paternity of the baby, however in June DNA tests were done to establish the fact that the little girl, Angel Iris born on April 3rd, is indeed Eddie Murphy’s child.
Brown and her lawyer Gloria Allred have accused Murphy of not paying “one penny of child support.” Now that paternity has been established Melanie Brown will be seeking sole custody.
Murphy is already the father of five children whom he had with former wife Nicole Murphy. Their divorce was recently finalized and Murphy is now engaged to Tracey Edmonds.
Howard Stern got engaged yesterday. He announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend and model Beth Ostrosky on his Sirius Satellite radio show.
He proposed to the 34 year old model Tuesday evening and she said yes. Howard Stern is 53.
“Do you want your Valentine’s Day gift now?” Said Howard Stern as he re-enacted his proposal for his listeners.
He asked Ostrosky to strip down when she said she wanted her gift. She protested that she was too fat to strip down. After she said that, Stern says he thought, “Any girl who looks like that and thinks she’s fat – I’ve got a chance with her.”
Once Beth was naked Howard gave her the 5.2 carat diamond engagement ring, and said “I love you. You’re everything to me, This is so gay. … I’m asking you to spend the rest of your life with me.”
Last month Stern had announced that he and Ostrosky had married, but revealed later that it was a prank. This time the engagement is real, although they say it will be a long engagement because, he said, that actually getting married is something that he and Ostrosky can’t think about right now.
