People en Espanol has selected Jennifer Lopez to be featured in their issue “100 most Influential Hispanics”. The edition honors those who’ve made an impact in the Hispanic community.
Lopez graced the cover of the magazines February issue says “being an example to others is a big part of my work.”
She also went on to say that she’d like to have children one day. “I come from a strong family, so of course I want to have one,” Lopez tells the magazine. “But I do have my own family: my immediate family, my husband and his children. I get to share in all of that. I am very lucky to have that.”
Other entertainers on the list with Lopez are Antonio Banderas, Carlos Santana, Eva Longoria, George Lopez, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Salma Hayek and Shakira, among others.
Lopez’ screen credits include “Selena,” “Maid in Manhattan” and “Monster-in-Law.” She has recorded her first Spanish language CD, “Como ama una mujer,” which is slated for release this spring.
“When I see all of this, I say to myself: `Wow! I didn’t know I had so many things inside,'” she says. “I am happy to have taken the time to appreciate it.”
Evangeline Lilly’s Home in Hawaii was gutted by fire early this past Wednesday morning. Lilly and her two roommates weren’t home at the time of the blaze. According to the Honolulu Fire department the cause of the fire is under investigation. Lilly had been living in this rental home for the last two years, ever since she was hired to work on Lost.
