Scott Weiland, lead singer for Velvet Revolver and Stone Temple Pilots, had a bit of domestic issue over the weekend. His wife, suffering from a bipolar disorder, blames an imbalance in her medication for her blowout over the weekend and subsequent arrest.

“The weekend’s difficulties were brought on by a reaction to an imbalance in medications used to treat my bipolar disorder,” Mary Weiland says. “Scott was simply trying to help calm me down. I want to make it very clear that he did not hurt me in any way.”
Weiland and his wife have now returned home to care for their children who did not witness the altercation as they had been staying with a family members on the night in question.
“Scott and I are very involved in our children’s lives on a daily basis and we love them unconditionally,” says Mary Weiland.
