Hilton up to her old ways?

So much for Paris changing her ways. Remember that Larry King interview only a week ago? Right.

Hilton was snapped by paparazzi lounging in Maui a few days ago while vacationing in Hawaii. It looked like she was trying to show the public that she could relax without partying.

Unfortunately the behind the scenes stories are a little different than the public appearance she was trying to pull off. Maui vacationers stated to Page six reporters that she was unwelcome at most of the local resorts.

“Paris tried to check into the Four Seasons first, but they turned her down,” said one guest at that hotel. “She then tried to stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani, but they turned her down, as well. She finally got a place at the Grand Wailea Resort, but that’s because it was a Hilton. We all thought it was hilarious that the Hilton hotel was her third choice.”

Perhaps the hotels were wary of her cozy relationship with photographers. “The paparazzi told us that Paris calls them herself,” said a different source, who claimed a lensman told him, “We love her. She lets us know where she’s going to be so we can take as many pictures as we want.”

The Four Seasons guest reinforced that impression, noting, “She was shopping at the Wailea concourse, strutting around, posing for the cameras. It was disgusting.”

Apparently Hilton got sneaky at night “She slipped out of the hotel and went to the club at the Hyatt a couple of times, She made friends with a couple of local guys and made out with them there. I guess she didn’t want pictures of herself doing that.”

Vacationers state that she hasn’t changed at all.

Hiltons rep has a different story stating that Hilton never checked in at the Grand Wailea. She apparently stayed at a private residence and only kept the company of her ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos.

The posts on the site haven’t been written by the site owner. They are composed of aggregated content from a selection of Celebrity blogs. The site is updated every five minutes in order to grab all the latest gossip from gossip blogs, gossip magazines, and and gossip websites. Content from sites such as MSNBC, Star Pulse, Perez Hilton, We Love Celebs, Celebitchy, ETOnline and many more make up the posts that you’ll find on Celebrity Gossip. Each post on the site is attributed to the original site that wrote the article.

Becoming a member of Celebrity Gossip not only allows you to comment and rate posts, but you’ll also earn points by participating. Just for registering for the site you’ll get 100 Bonus points. Commenting and rating posts is just one way that members can earn more bonus points, another way is to invite friends to join the community. When you’ve built up enough points you can use your points to get a free magazine subscription. There are 20 popular magazines to choose from at this time.

I do like that Celebrity Gossip rewards it’s members for their participation, and I think it’s a good way to motivate people to participate on the site.

Overall I do like this site. It certainly makes it easy to keep up with gossip and all the news about your favorite celebrities.

Ugly Betty’s sister marries!

Ugly Betty’s sister, ok, the actress who plays Ugly Betty’s older sister, Ana Ortiz, got married to musician Noah Lebenzon on Saturday in Puerto Rico

The 36 year old Ortiz wore a white lace Monique Lhuillier gown, and Lebenzon, 37, wore a gray Prada suit at the afternoon ceremony in the veranda of the Horned Dorset Primavera Hotel in Puerto Rico.

85 guests attended the wedding including cast members Ashley Jensen, Ferrera, and Mark Indelicato.

Lisa Blades, Lebenzon’s aunt and owner of the company “In Any Event” served as the couples wedding planner said: “The wedding was spectacular. With Ana’s work load and the success and craziness that come with a hit TV show, I think that Noah has been a great stabilizing force in her life. Committing to each other in marriage is calming for both of them.”

On May 18th, Ortiz, who’s keeping her maiden name BTW, had a bridal shower and tea at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Presents she received at the shower include a digital camera, cookware, and lingerie. The couple, joined by 30 friends, also had a joint bachelor and bachelorette party at Tao in Las Vegas on May 24.

Lebenzon and Ortiz had been dating since 2004 after being set up by mutual friends. They met up at Lucy’s El Adobe Cafe in Hollywood when they were each supposed to meet friends that didn’t show for hours – which is how they started talking and dating.

Paris in disguise?

I’m not sure who she thinks she’s fooling, but Paris Hilton has been trying to keep a low profile by dawning a wig!

She only has a few more days of freedom before she must report to jail.

Paris was spotted at the Hot Spot Club Les Deux on Friday wearing a dark colored wig in an attempt to conceal her identity.

She hung out with friends and danced to the hit I wanna love you, but overall didn’t seem to be enjoying herself.

I guess her petition didn’t work?

“She did not smile much at all. She appeared to be sad and was drinking one shot after another of Grey Goose Vodka,” says an eyewitness.

Also spotted at Les Deux this past Friday, Lindsay Lohan who chose to party upstairs in a private area.

Oprah’s thoughts on Betrayal

In the latest issue of Oprah Winfreys magazine she reveals that she was shattered when a relative, in 1990, told the world that she had a baby at the tender age of fourteen. Winfrey is writing about her “First Betrayal” as per the February issue’s theme “My first”.

The relative that Oprah feels betrayed her had told the National Enquirer that Winfrey had given birth to a baby who later died in the hospital a few weeks later. The associated press identified the blabbing relative as Oprahs half sister Patricia Lloyd. Oprah says her relative “sat in a room, told them the story of my hidden shame and left their offices $19,000 richer.”

When Oprah found out, she writes “I took to my bed and cried for three days. I felt devastated. Wounded. Betrayed. How could this person do this to me?”

Before the article came out, she says, “Only my family and closest friends knew. I would tell no one until I felt safe enough to share my dark past: the years I was sexually abused, from age 10 to 14, my resulting promiscuity as a teenager, and finally, at 14, my becoming pregnant.”

“I imagined that every person on the street was going to point their finger at me and scream, ‘Pregnant at 14, you wicked girl … expelled!’ ”

She came to find that “No one said a word … not strangers, not even people I knew. I was shocked. Nobody treated me differently. For 20 years, I had been expecting a reaction that never came.

“And I soon realized that having the secret out was liberating. … What I learned for sure was that holding the shame was the greatest burden of all.”
