Paris Hilton returns to jail – Video

Paris Hilton has returned to jail. She was taken from the court earlier today screaming and crying after Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered her to server the remainder of her 45 day sentence behind bars.

“It’s not right!” Hilton, 26, shouted as deputies approached her in the courtroom. She also called out to her mother in the audience: “Mom!” Kathy Hilton, accompanied by Paris’s father Rick, answered: “Honey!”

The judge came to his decision after hearing arguments from both the L.A. City attorney and Hilton’s Lawyers. It was decided that since the sheriffs department had not adequately submitted medical records supporting the reasons behind Hiltons transfer from jail to house arrest that she should return to jail.

Judge Sauer said, on the record “that he’d seen no evidence, no documents to support the contention that there was a medical condition.” Details of Hilton’s alleged condition were not released in court.

Paris goes to Jail

Late Sunday evening Paris Hilton reported to jail where she’s expected to serve at least 23 days for violating probation.

She said in a statement released by her lawyer: “I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.

“This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence.”

Hilton turned herself in to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood just south of Los Angeles.

She was booked, just hours after attending the MTV movie awards, at 11:38 pm. She had to surrender all of her possessions and then was strip searched prior to being issued a uniform. The booking process involved fingerprinting, being photographed, and a medical screening. She cooperated throughout the procedure.

“Ms. Hilton will be housed in a cell by herself and will be segregated, in a special housing unit, from the general population during her stay at CRDF,” the statement said.

Hilton was sentenced to jail on May 4 for violating the terms of her probation by repeatedly driving with a suspended license. She had been placed on probation after pleading no contest to reckless driving in a drunken driving case.

The judge had ordered her to serve 45 days but she could get out within 23 days if she behaves will incarcerated. She’ll have little to no contact with the general inmate population while in jail in order to ensure her safety.

She’ll eat all of her meals in her cell, and will in fact spend approximately 23 hours of each day within her 12 by 8 foot cell. She’ll have one hour for recreation each day.

I’m not sure who she thinks she’s fooling, but Paris Hilton has been trying to keep a low profile by dawning a wig!

She only has a few more days of freedom before she must report to jail.

Paris was spotted at the Hot Spot Club Les Deux on Friday wearing a dark colored wig in an attempt to conceal her identity.

She hung out with friends and danced to the hit I wanna love you, but overall didn’t seem to be enjoying herself.

I guess her petition didn’t work?

“She did not smile much at all. She appeared to be sad and was drinking one shot after another of Grey Goose Vodka,” says an eyewitness.

Also spotted at Les Deux this past Friday, Lindsay Lohan who chose to party upstairs in a private area.

Britney performs in Miami

Britney is back. She’s got 6 shows under her belt now after playing to a sold out crowd at Miami’s Mansion Sunday night.

Fans stood in line all afternoon to see Britney take the stage at 10:35 pm. She was accompanied by four blonde dancers who appear to be Paris Hilton look alikes.

The crowd went wild with screams of “Britney, Britney!”. The screams from the crowd prompted Britney to sing “Baby One More Time.”.

For her performance Spears showed off her midriff in true Britney fashion. She wore a micro mini that bared her black panties from the rear, and her pink bra was covered by a second bejeweled bra. It’s a good thing she wore two bras … her prancing around on stage caused her bejeweled bra to come undone at one point.

Unfortunately the lose of the jeweled bra flustered Britney who continued singing for a short while as she held her bra with one hand, but in the end she ran off the stage and let her back up singers finish the song.

She did return after about three minutes. At that time a man from the audience was brought up on stage and seated in a chair only to be entertained by Spears dancing provocatively for him. This time she wore a pink bra, a black lace up bustier, black hot pants with fuchsia jewels and nude fishnets with white go go boots.

At another point in the concert she left the stage again only to return dressed in a denim miniskirt, fuchsia bra and a white long sleeved fur coat cut off to show off her abs as she sang “Do Something”.

Her final song was “Toxic”, just as it was at her House of Blues Orlando concert Saturday night.

At the end of the concert she cried out “Miami, you guys rock, I love you so much!”.

Guest attending the concert were Madonna’s brother, Chris Ciccone, and Tracy Young a DJ who spun tunes at Spears 21st birthday party.

“Whether she lip-synchs or not, there was a line around the block,” said Young of Britney’s show. “I’m looking forward to her comeback, I think she’s going to be fierce.”

Petition asks Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris

I know I’m a bit late on this but this has got to be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard of! Paris Hiltons friend Joshua apparently started a petition,that co-incidentally went up on Paris’ Myspace page asking that California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger pardon her from her 45 day jail sentence.

As you probably know she was sentenced for violating her terms of probation by driving with a suspended license. the punishment, handed down by a Los Angeles Superior Court last Friday, is already under appeal.

On her Myspace page Paris went on to say “I urge all fans and supporters and all that are outraged by injustice to sign this petition,”.

An injustice? Did someone make her get behind the wheel?

The governors office hasn’t viewed the petition but his spokesperson, Aaron McLear told the Associate press on Tuesday “We’ll treat this as we would any other case of this nature, but it would be premature for the governor to get involved until the individual has exhausted his or her judicial remedies,” McLear said.

If she does get pardoned it will just go to show that celebrities or in her case socialites live by different laws that the rest of us.
