My husband and I have been planning a trip to Arizona with my brother, his wife and my husbands brother to go and see the baseball spring training Cactus Leagues. We’d been planning to go to catch the Chicago Cubs play in Mesa Arizona at the beginning of March, but we’ve just found out that the San Francisco Giants are also a Cactus League team.
Who shall we go see we thought. Then I realized that the team that is playing the cubs on the 1st of March is the SF Giants! Whoo hoo! We can all be happy. Well maybe not- only one team can win that game, but at least we’ll get to see them both play.
Now all we have to do is arrange to get our SF Giants Spring Training tickets. We’re thinking of getting seats in the Hohokam Park stadium in sections 115 or 116 – row A. Either side works well for us. One is front row near third base, and the other area is front row near first base.
I am looking forward to going to Arizona. Not just to see the SF Giants and the rest of the Cactus league teams that we might be lucky enough to see, but so that we can explore a little bit of that beautiful state. I’ve always wanted to go there, and it’s one of the few states that I’ve yet to visit. Grand Canyon here we come!
I must be on some kind of sports phase this week. I went to a hockey game last night and today I’m all excited about baseball. Whatever’s become of me?
