Puppy Love

by Tricia

Everyone loves puppies don’t they? I know that I do! Well I just came across a company called Europuppy that’s located in Budapest, Hungary. They provide people around the world and Central Europe with purebred puppies.

Another interesting piece of news about this company is that Europuppy has been serving the US Military since 2003, sponsoring the Stars and Stripes Newspapers pet directory. Many US service men and woman stationed overseas in Europe have used Europuppy’s services to purchase a new puppy for their home.

Europuppy has dog breeds from the tops European lines, and they are proud of their reputation of providing healthy high quality puppies to homes and businesses around the world. The company works with a select group of breeders from across Europe, and visit the breeders personally to ensure that the puppy breeders are raising the dogs in healthy conditions.

When I looked through the Europuppy.com Dogs for Sale section I discovered that they have just about every single breed that I could think of. They even have Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, a breed that I just love! Not only that, but when you go through their directory of dogs for sale, finding a breed that you prefer, and one that actually does have some puppies for sale you’ll see that they also provide breed information- discussing things like size, activity levels, and temperament so that you can select a breed of dog that suits your life style.

For example, some dogs just do not go well with children because of their size and or temperament. Wouldn’t it be better for both you, your family, and the dog if you knew that in advance?

I really like that the site has so much information, and such a variety of dog breeds for sale. Check it out if you are a dog lover looking for a particular breed.

Win $500 for commenting on 451press Blogs

by Tricia

I don’t think I’ve told my readers here that I write several blogs. One of the blogs that I write is called “Watching House” and it’s on the 451press.com network of blogs.

I just found out that they are having a comment contest. I believe it started on January 8th and runs through to the end of the month. You could win $500 just for leaving a comment on any of the 451press blogs – with the exception of the main 451press.com blog itself.

You see, 451press is a new network of blogs. I believe the network began in October with a call for writers for various blog topics. I answered a call for new bloggers in late November and I was signed on to write my Watching House blog that discusses the TV show House M.D..

I do write ups of House, show recaps, discuss various aspects of the show and the stars that play each character. I also spend a lot of time writing about the gorgeous Hugh Laurie and his life outside of the show.

I’m not quite sure just how many blogs are in our network now but I believe it’s well over 100 blogs. I’m sure that if you come to visit you’ll find several blogs on topics from your favorite TV shows, Favorite Celebrities, Home and Garden, Books, Sports and leisure and many other categories that you’d be pleased to read and leave a comment on for your chance to win $500.

All you need to do for a chance to win is to leave a quality comment on any of the 451press blogs. You need to write a comment that contributes to the blog, or the post in particular on which you are leaving your comment. Every qualifying comment made on the 451 press blogs between now and January 31st will be entered into a random drawing for prizes. Every comment that you leave will count as an entry. Just remember you comments must be of quality – not just a “hello, great site” as that won’t count.

Here’s a list of the prizes:

We will award six prizes to the six randomly chosen comments from this month. There will be one (1) $500 cash prize and five (5) $100 cash prizes. We will contact the winning commenters using the email address they enter with the comment. Comments made through January 31st will be entered in the contest and the winners will be announced on February 1st.

So what are you waiting for? Start at my Watching House Blog and then scroll to the bottom of the page that you’re on to see the wide variety of blog categories and visit another one of my fellow 451press bloggers sites and leave them a comment too.

Planning a winter vacation

by Tricia

The New Year is coming up fast and I bet that many of you reading this site have been thinking about going on some kind of winter vacation. I know that I have! Come February or early March I’ll be more than ready to get out of this cold freezing climate for a week in the hot sun. Oh yeah, I can almost feel the sun on my back now.

So … I’m starting to think about where I might go for a little R&R. I love exotic places, and who knows maybe I’ll go at just the right time and spot some vacationing celebs too? I’ll have to look up some of the vacation hot spots of the stars. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to stay in the types of hotels that they stay in, but maybe I can find something reasonable close by? Yeah, that’s an idea.

Luckily, I’m going to be able to get a little help planning my vacation this year with Hotelreservations.com, as they have a wonderful site where I can look for, and make Hotel Reservations just about anywhere in the world.

I keep hearing how nice St. Lucia is, so I went to Hotelreservations.com, and took a peek at what kind of accommodations are available in early March. No that’s not when I’m planning my vacation. I really don’t know if or when I’ll get to have a vacation this winter – but I can dream can’t I?

I set the search results up to show me the lowest priced hotel rooms and other forms of accommodations first. The prices are reasonable for that time of year- it’s close to March Break after all, and the resorts and hotels. Oh my. They’re lovely. Now I have no doubt that hotelreservations.com will be able to do the job for me when I do seriously decide to search for accommodations for my next jet set vacation.

So where are you going for your vacation this winter?
