What do you think the celebs pay for insurance?

Can you imagine what the cost of car insurance must be for all the Hollywood celebrities with their fancy cars? Many have multiple cars – luxury cars. I can only imagine that the cost of insuring all those cars is probably more than I make in a year.

Same for their home insurance since many of them live in mansion style homes worth millions. We think that our property taxes and yearly home insurance costs are high enough, and our house isn’t worth anywhere near the price of their homes.

I’m sure that with Nicole Ritchie recently being charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol (she admitted to having taken vicodin and smoking some whacky tabacy) that at some point in the future Nicole will be looking to compare car insurance rates, because I’m sure hers will probably end up going up now that she’s been charged with a driving offence.

With so many stars getting in to trouble just driving their cars lately I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a weekly Hollywood insurance news tabloid out there.

Britney says she hasn’t partied that much

with all the tabloids and magazines following the exploits of Britney Spears and her BFF Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and others at many of the hot spots lately, Britney felt that she needed to defend herself.

Spears claims that “It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends. It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday,” Spears, who marked her 25th birthday on Saturday with a bash at Mr. Chow’s restaurant in Beverly Hills, writes on her Web site.

“Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a bit too far,” Spears writes. “Anyway, thank God for Victoria Secrets’ new underwear line! I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me.”

Wait, what’s that about Victoria Secrets new underwear line? Last I heard Britney hasn’t been wearing any undies.

Aniston and Vaughn split?

It’s official. In statements to People Magazine reps, Stephen Huvane and John Pisani, for Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn said that they have decided to part ways. They said “After Jennifer’s trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today.” The pair had been dating since filming the movie The Break Up in Chicago during the summer of 2005.

There’s been speculation for some time that the two were cooling off. Vaughn has been in London since September filming Fred Claus, and Aniston has been working in L.A. and New York.

You might remember that in October Vince Vaughn threatened to sue several tabloids that had alleged he was seen kissing a mystery blonde and had ended his relationship with Aniston. The pair both made efforts to dispel these rumors – particularly Aniston who went on Oprah on October 11th to say that the two were still together.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I liked the two of them as a couple – hopefully they’ll end up getting back together. If they don’t, I wonder how long it will be before a mysterious blonde begins to appear on Vinces arm?

Jessica Simpson say she and John Mayer are just friends

Jessica Simpson is insisting that the tabloid reports of she and singer John Mayer being a couple are wrong and states that they are just friends.

Jessica, 25, appeared on The View talk show today, where she discussed the rumors. O’Donnell asked, “Is everything going good for you, you’re in a good place, you’re happy…’ Simpson replied, “I’m in a really good place…”

O’Donnell then tried to get Jessica to talk about the tabloid reports that she is dating John Mayer, asking “You don’t want to say, but maybe?” Simpson sighed and shook her head saying, “I love it that she just goes right there….I’m actually not dating John Mayer.” O’Donnell feigned shock saying, “You mean People magazine was wrong?”

People Magazine had featured Simpson on the cover last week with the headline, ‘I’m in love,’ referring to Simpson’s reported new relationship with Mayer. She added, “And they put this quote saying that I’m in love! You know, he’s my friend, I’ve known him for a couple years.”
