I went back and forth on the phone with our mortgage company and broker several times over a period of three weeks or so before we settled on a deal that would give us an adjustable rate mortgage with pretty much the same low interest rate that we&#8217;d been paying. However thanks to our paying down on our loan just prior to refinancing we were able to lower the monthly payments by a fraction.  That&#8217;s come in very handy in recent months.<\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<!--CusAds--><p>I&#8217;m really not looking forward to the next time we have to deal with our mortgage company, but at least this time I&#8217;ve got a little bit of experience.   I&#8217;ve also found a website that is full of great information on Mortgages- getting one, and refinancing, plus the site even offers assistance if finding you a broker.
