Keylogging software for home and business

by Tricia

A software company named SpectorSoft has just come out with a new type of software that allows you to record every key that has been typed on a computer. Now I know to the average person reading this keylogging probably sounds like a horrible idea, but there several circumstances where it would come in handy and might even be invaluable.

You see, companies might be interested in using keylogging software in a data entry company. They could easily monitor the work that’s been done and make sure that perhaps the sensitive data that they are working with stays within the company. Governments or companies dealing with sensitive information might find this useful.

One use for the home that I can think of would be to monitor a teenagers computer activity. No I don’t mean using keylogging software to spy on your kids. Not at all. Perhaps your child has been accused of writing nasty emails to classmates or posting things on the internet about their friends or the school they attend. You child swears that he or she did not do this. Keylogging software could help you prove that your child didn’t do it – well at least not on the home computer anyway.
