I just came across a company that makes easy to use window tinting products. Their products can be used on your car or in your home.
The window tinting kits are easy to install and each are pre-cut to the exact measurements that you need.
SnapTint’s window tinting projects for the car or home are straight forward, with easy to follow instructions. You could finish an installation in one afternoon.
The benefits that you’ll get from using any of the variety of window films (in many colors) are reduced glare, Lower cooling bills, UV protection, and enhanced privacy in your car of home.
Go have a look at the site and see if any of their products would work for you.

That should make it a lot easier to install. It takes forever to cut them to fit. I use to do it on limousines, long process.

Yeah, I’ve worked with snaptint before.. though If you’re serious about DIY window tinting you gotta make sure you do it right. Otherwise you’ll misshapen tint, wasted hours and dollars and – well, a mess =P.
I’d recommend you hire a pro for your window tinting needs.

How To … we were actually give a sample by Snap Tint ( I wrote about it in a later post) and we put it on our kitchen window. It’s south facing and gets a LOT of light. Two years later the Snaptint is still holding up well and applying it to our window was easy!

This is why we got into the window tinting business, because it pays for itself, then puts money in your pocket. Window tinting has so many benefits (even the clear tinting). Excellent DIY project!

I have never heard of doing window tinting by yourself. It sounds like it would be convenient. I would be a little nervous about messing is up, but I would give it a try.
