Who hasn’t had a loan yet?

by Tricia

I imagine that just about everyone who visits my site and ends up reading this post has had a loan at one point or another in the past?

I’m just trying to think of how many loans I’ve actually had. I guess my first one was a school loan when I was going to college, and I also had another loan- a business one, when I had my own business. I needed that one in order to purchase the equipment I needed to set up my business. Luckily, I think the only other loan that I’ve ever had was for our mortgage, and that’s the only ongoing loan that we still make payments on. My husband has taken care of the car related loans- but we currently don’t have one of those either. By that I mean we have a car but it’s paid off. I guess we’re in pretty good shape loan wise.

If you’d like more information about the various types of loans – from personal loans to secured loans you might want to visit the sponsorer of this post, Secured Loans Co. UK, where you’ll find write-ups of the various types of loan offerings, as well as information on personal and secured loans in the UK.

Watching crocus’ bloom

by Tricia

This is a time lapsed video called ” A day in the Life ” , and it is in fact a day in the life of a small cluster of crocus’. Crocus flowers open when the sun hits them in the morning and by the evening the flowers are closed are ready for the long cool night.

I grow crocus in my lawn and to me they are always the first sign of spring. Since they are the first flowers to bloom for me, I keep track of their opening and closings – never quite like this video did, but I enjoy watching them open and close. Now I can just watch this video whenever I want to.

Custom designed Conference Tables

by Tricia

If your company is need of new or possible more board room tables then I have a site that you, or the buyer responsible for your company should look at. Unique Concepts, the sponsorer of this post, has created Custom Boardroom Tables that are just as gorgeous as they are functional.

It’s important for a business to have an area where it’s employees or a specific team of employees can sit and share ideas and concepts about upcoming projects. To do so using a table created specifically to the companies needs would only benefit the work that ends up being done at that conference table.

Unique Concepts is well known for their conference table designs. Each design comes in a range of sizes, shapes and styles. The tables are also made of a variety of materials such as solid wood, veneers, laminates, stone, and glass and there’s even some metal designs.

Their high end design conference tables can be designed with inlayed patterns and to enhance the beauty of the table as a whole.

Each design can be customized to your companies needs. For example electrical or A/V equipment could be incorporated into the design or function of the table, as well as grommets or channels for cables. The addition of such features will not distract from the design and beauty of the conference table, but it will add to the over all function.

Unique concepts website has an online show room where they display a wide variety of conference tables. Just click on the images for a description and larger view of each table.

I’ve never really worked in a company that had, or had much need for a conference table, other than the hospital where I am now employed. Unfortunately, we don’t have such nicely designed conference tables in the majority of our hospital departments. I only wish that we did. These tables are, as I said early, just lovely to look at, and appear to be well thought out and beautifully designed.
