Relieve your pets dry itchy skin and other conditions

by Tricia

Our pets, just like ourselves, can suffer through irritating skin problems ranging from dry and itchy skin to skin sores, rashes, eczema, and or cuts, and these skin conditions need special care if we want our pets to be happy and healthy.

I don’t have a pet dog, but several of my friends have pet dogs and I’m sure at least half of these animals have had some form of skin problem over the years that had to be treated.

There’s a product called Dermaxol on the market that’s made to be a skin remedy for your pet. It works quickly and is said to heal many of the skin conditions like sores, cuts, rashes, eczema and dry itchy skin quickly, within 3 to 10 days usually. This dog skin care cream product sounds like a wonderful product. Imagine how much better your pet would feel if it got relieve from Dermaxol quickly? We know they are miserable when they are itching and nipping at irritated skin patches, so why not try to give them some relief?

Fertilizing your lawn

by Tricia

I’m sure you know some homeowners that are fanatics about their lawns? Maybe you even are one of them?

Well, many homeowners place a lot of emphasis on fertilizing their laws in spring and summer. While it’s true that some fertilizer is needed during the spring and summer it’s very easy to over fertilize and cause major problems.

Over application of fertilizer can cause diseases, and bare patches will might allow grubs and other lawn pest a chance to get a hold in your lawn and cause problems.

Basic tips to remember- If the lawn was fertilized late last fall, then you need to make only one application in late April or early May. If no late fall fertilizer was applied, you should make two applications this spring; one the first week in April, and the other about the last week in May using the minimal amounts recommended each time.

Pingo International calling cards

by Tricia

Do you make a lot of long distance calls? I don’t very often these days but I do go through periods where there are a lot of long distance and international calls going out of this house. I guess one of those times is coming up with the Christmas season.

This year I might go ahead and sign up with Pingo and use their prepaid calling card service to make my long distance and international calls. I can even use the Pingo calling cards with my cell phone and get much lower rates than I can with my cell phone provider, and I’ve heard that the calling cards can be used with VOIP systems as well. One nice thing that I like about Pingo is that when you sign up they give you $5 USD in free calls. That could add up to 4 hours of free International calls just for joining.

Once you sign up for a card they send you your code and pin number right away via email so you can use it just about immediately rather than waiting weeks for a card to be delivered via snail mail.

If I get a card I think I might call one of my friends who happens to live in Australia these days. The Australia calling card rates are quite reasonable. Actually I’ve found that all of their rates, no matter what country you are looking at calling or calling from are reasonable even Pakistan calling cards are quite low. You know, now that I’m thinking about it- these calling cards might make great stalking stuffers. Hmmm another Christmas gift idea to think about.
