Kaenon Polarized Sunglasses

by Tricia

As gardeners we spend a lot of times outdoors in the bright sunlight. Do you wear sunglasses to protect your eyes when you are working in the garden? I hope you do since the suns rays that are so beneficial to our plants can be damaging to our eyes.

ADS Sports eyewear is an optician owned and run online company that specializes in the sale of eyewear. They carry quite a variety of polarized sunglasses, sports sunglasses, motorcycle glasses, prescription sunglasses, ski goggles and protective sports eyewear.

The lens that they use in many of their polarized sunglasses are Kaenon SR-91 polarized copper -12 lens. These lens cut glare more effectively than any other polarized lens material. It’s also a very durable material that is virtually indestructible. Think about it. These kinds of lens might come in handy not just to protect your eyes from the sun, but also to protect your eyes when some nasty thorny rose branches snap back at you.

Sports professionals are beginning to use Kaenon polarized lens. NY Mets Tom Glavin is pictured above wearing the Kaenon Kore sunglasses.

You can purchase Kaenon polarized sunglasses as well as prescription sunglasses using the SR-91 lens from ADS Sports Eyewear. You’ll get a free hard case for your sunglasses with every pair of Kaenons that you purchase.

ADS Sports Eyewear carries a wide range of sunglasses from the Kaenon sunglasses that I’ve discussed to Serengeti and other well known brand names. Visit the site and get some new sunglasses.

My crafty neighbor

by Tricia

My stalker elderly neighbor was at it again today. It’s March and she was out in her garden planting leeks.

Now we’ve had some nice weather in the past week but it’s going to go below zero tonight. I think leeks are ok with cool temps, but it’s going to be freezing tonight. I tried to get in touch with her to let her know, but she didn’t seem to understand what I was trying to say. Which of course means she didn’t want to understand me.

She’s crafty that way. She speaks Greek and Macedonian since she’s originally from Greece. but she’s been here for oh I don’t know, 50 years or more and she can speak English well enough that we converse and joke around. It’s just whenever she doesn’t “want” to understand that she suddenly doesn’t speak English well anymore.

Crafty stalker neighbor lady. I hope her leeks survive!
