Silly arguement

by Tricia

Did you know that if you have a Dell computer that if you want to upgrade it’s memory you do not have to specifically purchase Dell Memory. No, you don’t.

As long as you get the same type and size of memory you’ll be fine.

I was trying to prove this to a friend.

She didn’t believe me until I actually opened up my own computer and showed her the few items that we’ve upgraded on ours and showed her that we bought generic products! Man, you can save a lot of money if you can get a generic item. Just like shopping in the grocery store … why not buy generic if it tastes the same as a name brand.

Chris and I went to Chicago last summer and while we were there we toured downtown Chicago.

One of the places that I liked best in Chicago was Millennium park – see photo above – with it’s large outdoor entertainment theater and lovely flowers, and shrubs planted around it, and Cloud Gate.

I have photos of Cloud Gate on Tricia’s Musings. That’s the coolest sculpture ever so you must visit my other site too.

I’d love to go to Chicago and attend a concert or play or whatever they might put on in the outdoor Millennium park. I’ve heard the acoustics’s there are supposed to be amazing.

Hibiscus bloom

by Tricia

Hibiscus

I like to always have a hibiscus around.

Sometimes I’m not all that successful keeping them alive inside my dark house in the winter but I always have one each summer, whether it’s new or one that survived the winter.

I just love hibiscus flowers. They’re so large and beautiful.

Did you know that hibiscus flowers are edible? I don’t eat them but I do occasionally drop a hibiscus flower in with my box turtles and they eat it up. They love eating flowers.
