Hosta Flower buds

These are hosta flowers.

I’m not always that into them when I look at them from afar amid the rest of the plants in the garden, but when I get up close to Hosta flowers I do appreciate how pretty they really are after all.

Do you enjoy your hosta flowers?

This must be your second GTS site. I don’t know how I got to the other one! I’ve always wondered if hostas had flowers, and now I know.
I also love the rose photo in you post below.

When I did have Hostas I never even saw the flowers. They were there but to tiny and meaningless somehow. I think it was because the leafs were that much better!!! Love the Hosta otherwise.

My GTS post may be on the edge of not being a GTS post this Sunday, it’s more related to the nature of views… *giggles*

Sorry for that. I’m having problem to get together posts for the moment 🙂

I am beginning to appreciate the beauty of the hosta flower and I recently used the flower in a flower arrangement for our village produce show. Your photograph is stunning as always.

I appreciate hosta flowers up close. Mine are mostly finished and I just trimmed the flower stalks down yesterday.

    Beautiful photo.
I love hostas but they don’t do well here.
    The snails love them though.

Lovely picture! My mom loves hostas, she has them lining the driveway to her house.

The rose picture from your other post is gorgeous as well!

I must plant some hostas. I love them but am always afraid they’ll be eaten by the slugs 🙁

I don’t know if I’ve seen that flower before. It looks a bit like purple wheat 🙂

I don’t currently have a shady place for hostas, but they are very beautiful. And this bloom of yours, very nice! Such a soft color! Very soothing!! 🙂
