There’s nothing better than a flat panel TV

by Tricia

You can not believe how happy I am to be home from Vegas! I’m still sick and recovering from my trip. I haven’t managed to do much at all since we’ve been home, but I can tell you that one of the things I appreciate is being able to watch all the shows we taped while we were away and well … just being able to see them on a decent sized TV. Our hotel had advertised their rooms as having flat panel TVs but they did not. We had a small, at most 20 inch, TV set that only got 9 channels!

As I said now that I’m home and don’t have much energy to do anything I’m quite happy to sit back and catch up on all the TV shows that we taped while we were away.

We have a Samsung DLP and I love it. One day though, we’ll probably end up getting another HD ready flat panel TV perhaps for the basement when we renovate it.

If you are thinking of buying one of the new flat panel TVs you might want to visit Wize.com where you can read reviews of LCD and Plasma flat panel TVs.

They’ve set up the listings so that the televisions with the highest consumer ratings (Wize Ratings) are listed near the top of each review page. You can of course search for television reviews by brand, television type, price range, screen format and display size.

When you find a television that you are interested in you can click on the listing to read all the reviews and even find online stores to purchase the set. Check it out.

That looks like a pretty cool site. I like how they rank them all according to consumer satisfaction. I have a DLP television too and absolutely love it. Is there any reason in particular why you might switch to flat panel? I’ve always preferred DLP’s picture quality over plasma and LCD– and the best part is you can get the biggest screen at a lower price!
