Beautiful Fringed Tulip

When I was going through some of my older pictures on Saturday I came across this lovely fringed tulip photo.

I think this is the most beautiful tulip I grow. Actually this is possibly one of the most beautiful flowers of any kind that I grow.

I love it’s delicate fringes at the end of each petal. They’re unusual yet very pretty.

This tulip does well in my garden. It’s multiplying well. I should have dug up some of the bulbs last spring and planted some elsewhere so I could have more groupings of this tulip in other areas of the garden. I’ll have to try to remember to do that next spring.

Awesome Flower, i love those colour and cute fringes. Tricia, if you grow this plant in cluster one among the another one by planting it very closer, hope your will get the nice view of the Tulips flowers in cluster and i am sure this make your garden looks nice. Try it out.

Love the pic of the tulip. Absolutely beautiful. I live in Costa Rica where we have about 1000 varieties of orchids. I have pics of some posted on my blog if you’d like to take a look.

Lovely! The color and beauty reminds me of a mauve crepe dress I wore as bridesmaid at my brothers wedding in 1967!!!

Isn’t photrade awesome – I love how you can put your photos in your posts with the ‘watermark’ so they won’t be copied without permission 🙂
